Nare Filiposyan

Research Assistant, Matter Design

Nare Filiposyan is a Master of Architecture candidate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She was born in Sisian, Armenia and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Architecture from Bennington College, where she serves as a Trustee. As an undergraduate student, Nare has worked at SHoP Architects, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, and BKSK Architects. While at MIT, Nare has worked at Caleb Linville Architects and WOJR, leading design projects including a townhouse renovation in Brooklyn, a teaching greenhouse in Hudson New York, and get away cabins in Texas Hill Country.​
